BatasHub Terms of Service.

1. Definitions

• "BatasHub" or "Service" means the BatasHub website, software, account system, workspaces, and related services.
• "User" or "you" means an individual who visits the website, creates an account, or uses the Service.
• "Content" means information, text, files, or other material entered into the Service.
• "Legal Professional" means a separately verified and authorized lawyer or other professional using a BatasHub professional workspace. An account label, role, or profile is not proof of that status.
• "Permitted Content" means information BatasHub has expressly authorized for the currently enabled service. Until a live-data category is activated in writing, this is limited to non-live information that does not identify or concern a real person, matter, transaction, document, or notarial act.

2. Eligibility, accounts, and security

2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of accepting these terms. If you use BatasHub for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to act for that organization.

2.2 Account information

You must provide accurate account information, protect access to your email and Google account, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your authenticated session unless applicable law provides otherwise.

2.3 Supported authentication

Google sign-in and email one-time codes are the supported hosted authentication methods. BatasHub never receives your Google password. Account access is limited to invited identities until public registration is expressly enabled.

4. Technology platform and legal-service boundaries

4.1 BatasHub is not a law firm

BatasHub provides technology for organizing legal-service workflows. BatasHub itself is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Website content and automated guidance are general information and are not a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer.

4.2 No lawyer-client relationship

Browsing, creating an account, sending a request, or using the public guide does not create a lawyer-client relationship, professional duty, conflict restriction, or confidentiality obligation with a lawyer. Legal services begin only after a named lawyer completes conflict and professional review and the lawyer and client accept a separate written engagement covering scope and fees.

4.3 No emergency or deadline service

Do not rely on BatasHub for emergencies, imminent hearings, prescriptive or limitation periods, filing deadlines, or urgent legal protection. Until a lawyer expressly accepts an engagement in writing, you remain responsible for protecting your rights and meeting every deadline.

6. Your Content and platform rights

6.1 Your Content

You retain any rights you hold in Content you are permitted to submit. You grant BatasHub a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, reproduce, and display that Content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and comply with law for the Service. Content must remain within the currently authorized Permitted Content scope.

6.2 Your responsibility

You represent that you have the right to submit Content and that it does not violate law, confidentiality, privilege, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, or these terms.

6.3 BatasHub materials

BatasHub's software, interface, branding, documentation, and original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. These terms do not transfer ownership of those materials to you.

7. Acceptable use

You may not:

• Use BatasHub for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, harassing, or abusive activity.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent legal authority, representation, professional status, accreditation, or a completed transaction.
• Bypass access controls, probe or disrupt systems, introduce malware, scrape protected content, or access another user's account or matter.
• Submit Content you do not have the right to use or that infringes privacy, confidentiality, privilege, or intellectual-property rights.
• Use automated or generated output as legal advice, a Court filing, a professional opinion, or a completed notarial act.

8. Third-party services

BatasHub depends on third-party infrastructure and may link to external services. Their availability, security, and separate terms are outside BatasHub's direct control. Google sign-in is an authentication option only; it does not give BatasHub access to Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Meet, contacts, or other Google product content.

Use of personal information is governed by the Privacy Policy.

9. Fees and payments

BatasHub does not currently charge for legal services or process client funds. Any future professional fee, platform fee, price, refund rule, recurring charge, or payment-provider term must be clearly disclosed and expressly accepted before a charge is created. No website interaction by itself authorizes payment.

10. Suspension, termination, and deletion

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account. BatasHub may restrict or suspend access to protect users or systems, investigate security concerns, comply with law, or address a material violation of these terms.

On termination, access may end immediately. Account information will be handled under the Privacy Policy, including any limited retention necessary for security, legal claims, protected backups, and legal obligations.

11. Availability, changes, and disclaimers

11.1 Private availability

Access may change, pause, or be withdrawn while BatasHub completes service, provider, security, legal, and regulatory activation. Account and workflow records are stored durably, but retention remains subject to this agreement, the Privacy Policy, lawful deletion, and operational recovery procedures. We may modify features and correct or remove content as the service evolves.

11.2 No warranty of legal outcome

The currently enabled Service is provided on an "as available" basis. BatasHub does not warrant a legal outcome, professional acceptance, filing result, notarization, uninterrupted operation, or that general or automated content is complete or suitable for your situation.

11.3 Responsibility limits

To the extent permitted by law, BatasHub is not responsible for decisions made from general website content, prohibited real-data submissions, missed legal deadlines, misuse of an account, or interruptions outside its reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

12. Governing law and miscellaneous provisions

These terms are governed by applicable Philippine law, without limiting mandatory consumer, data-subject, or other non-waivable rights.

• If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
• Failure to enforce a provision once is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
• BatasHub is not responsible for delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
• These terms and the Privacy Policy form the agreement for use of the public website and account service; a legal engagement requires a separate written agreement with the named lawyer.

13. Changes to these terms

We will update the date on this page when these terms change and provide additional notice where applicable law requires it. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by law. Material production-service terms will be separately presented before real legal services open.
